Our team of specialists is ready to tackle your estate sale. With over 20 years experience, the VIP staff is knowledgeable and motivated to get you the best results. We will treat you and your belongings with the utmost respect. We are not liquidators, we work for you!

STEP ONE
Walk-Through with a VIP Consultant
This is a free evaluation at your home to discuss the items to be sold, provide insights into the logistics and address any questions you may have. Then, if you’re ready, we can discuss potential sale dates.
TIP:
Please allow us to assess your estate in its entirity. Don’t dispose of any items prior to our evaluation — we may find valuable items you overlooked!
STEP TWO
Sale Set-up and Preparation
Depending on the size of your estate, this process can range from one to two weeks. Our experienced team will research items and establish a fair price. We create displays and list with local media to maximize turnout. In addition, VIP has a dedicated customer base who regularly attend our sales!
TIP:
Please be prepared to remove all items that you plan to keep prior to the set-up date.
STEP THREE
The Estate Sale Weekend
VIP Estate Sales will run a professional event geared to make the sales as profitable as possible for you. Our knowledgeable team will field customer questions about items in your estate.
TIP:
Please enjoy a getaway for a few days during the sale and let us handle the details. The professional VIP team will adhere to an efficient process for proven successful sales.
STEP FOUR
Clean-up / Care of Unsold Items
After the sale is completed, VIP will clear out your house, consult with you on the disposition of unsold items and dispose of garbage. When you return, your home will be empty!
TIP:
Your consultant will contact you regarding unsold items. If you would like to donate to a charity, please just let us know and we’ll make arrangements and get a receipt for your records.
STEP FIVE
Payment and donation receipts
Payment will be made to you when the sale is complete and all of the accounting is final.

As a long-time Realtor, often times I assist adult children with the sale of their parents’ home. Years worth of furniture, household items, clothing, etc. may have to be disposed of prior to the home being sold.
